the last days of summer...

Big Twin

O.k. guys, here comes the "Big Twin" meeting. One of the last great events in the summer. 

4 days of party, bikes, friends...near of the beach.

In adittion to the meeting there are a couple exposures throughout the week at the port. The first one begins today.

Antonio Merinero presents "PinBall" 

"Pinball" is the last work of Antonio and it recreates the classic pinball boards of differents images with pop inspiration based on the different modalities on two wheels.

The second is a photo exposure of  Fernando Ibañez, called "Made in Spain" and it begins next  Thursday with pics of bikes and bikers from Spain through the years and miles of road.

The guys from Club Cafe Racer have wrapped up a competition which will be good fun. The challenge will consist in transforming a Yamaha SR250. The choice of the donor bike was made on the basis of its low cost and ready availability here in Spain.

The rules are:

Style: Bobber/Cafe/Racer (Choppers are excluded due to the tacky-ness of the donor)

Maximum budget allowed for transformation: €1.000 (What you get done 4 free doesn't count!).

The event will take place on January 2011 in Madrid.

Deadline for inscription: October 2010.

There already 15 participants so this will be fun!

Expo - Art on wheels

From the 4th to 11th September and taking advantage of the days before the meeting of the Big-Twin, in Grao of Castellon, is made an exhibition called "Art on Wheels".

Located on Plaza del Mar (next to the port). Organized by the Big-Twin Club with the collaboration of ChopperOn digital magazine, with the motorcycles of Bonneville workshop (Madrid) and Hot Dreams (Marbella), among others, are also displayed some prints made with spray.

Ya tenia yo ganas de ver mi sombra de esta manera a las siete de la tarde en el mes de Marzo.

Ella se siente feliz al ser reflejada en sitios que llevaba ya mucho tiempo sin "estar". La arena de la playa, mas horas detrás, delante ó a los lados de mi Triumph durante mas tiempo. Carreteras por las que ahora si que es humano pasar sin congelarse. Esquivando esos malditos bichos y esas nubes de mosquitos...

Disfruta como una enana, yo lo noto, la veo mas clara,con el color que tienen las sombras cuando llega el buen tiempo, sin grises.
